The Princess Resort sits right on the shallow, sheltered sand of Agia Paraskevi, one of the south coast's safest family beaches, and it is one of the few Skiathos hotels with a proper children's programme: a kids club, a crèche for the littlest ones, a children's pool and a playground. It is polished without being stuffy, and the calm bay out front does half the entertaining for you.

Our verdict
If you are travelling with a baby or toddler, the Princess Resort is arguably the most practical choice on Skiathos: a genuine crèche and kids club, a children's pool, and a shallow beach you can trust just steps from your room. You pay for it in peak season, but the convenience is worth a lot with very young children.
The rooms
Rooms run from comfortable doubles to Deluxe Family Rooms with two separate sleeping areas, which is exactly what you want when a baby's bedtime does not match a seven-year-old's. Cots are free on request and the family categories give you the space and storage a week with children actually needs, with many rooms looking out over the garden or the bay.

Parents also ask
Is there really a crèche for babies?
Yes, the resort runs a crèche for the littlest guests alongside a mini club for older children, with daytime sessions through the week. Hours and age bands can change year to year, so confirm the current schedule with the hotel when you book.
Is the beach safe for little ones?
Agia Paraskevi is a sheltered, shallow bay with soft sand, one of the calmest family beaches on the south coast. The water stays shallow a good way out, so toddlers can paddle happily under a close eye.
Will aircraft noise be a problem?
The hotel is close to the airport, so you will see and hear the occasional plane during the day, but Skiathos has limited traffic and flights stop in the evening, so it rarely disturbs sleep.
Can we get there without a car?
Yes. The transfer from the airport is very short and the south-coast bus passes nearby, so you can manage without a car, though hiring one for a day or two opens up the quieter beaches and Skiathos Town.

Elivi Skiathos
Elivi spreads across several low-rise buildings and villas in the pines above Koukounaries and Banana beaches, and the family categories are genuinely generous: two-bedroom suites and villas, some with a private pool and a patch of garden, give parents a door to close on a sleeping baby. Cots and bed rails come free on request, and the larger villas comfortably take a family of four or five without anyone tripping over the buggy.

in Skiathos
Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa
Accommodation ranges from smart double rooms to two-bedroom Family Apartments that sleep four, with a queen bed in one room and two twins in the other, so parents and children get their own space. Cots are free on request, and the apartment layouts make the difference between a cramped week and an easy one when you are travelling with two children.

in Skiathos
Atrium Hotel
Rooms step down a pine slope with sea views from most, and the family options include a Family Room with a private pool that sleeps four. Free cots are offered on request, and the private-pool categories are a real draw with young children: a safe, shallow splash just outside your door, well away from the busier main pool.
