Unbeatable-value all-inclusive, big water parks and long sandy beaches

🏖️Sousse

Tunisia

Updated 1 July 2026

Sousse is Tunisia's family all-inclusive heartland, and one of the best-value beach holidays within a short flight of Europe. Think big resorts with free kids clubs and on-site water parks, long Blue Flag sandy beaches at Boujaffar and Port El Kantaoui, and the car-free marina village where children can safely wander among the boats and ice cream stalls. Add a UNESCO Medina, camel and quad excursions, a Friguia animal park and warm sun from May right through October, all at prices that make a proper family week genuinely affordable.

Parents also ask

When is the best time to visit with kids?

May, June, September and October are ideal, with warm sea and sun but without the peak-summer heat. July and August are hotter and busier, so plan slides in the morning and shade at midday.

Which airport should we fly into?

Enfidha (NBE) and Monastir (MIR) both serve Sousse, each around 40 minutes to an hour by transfer. Enfidha handles most charter flights from Europe.

Is it good value compared with Spain or Greece?

Yes, this is Tunisia's great strength. All-inclusive resorts with kids clubs and water parks cost noticeably less than the equivalent in Spain, Greece or Turkey, which is why families keep coming back.

Should we stay in Port El Kantaoui or Sousse town?

Port El Kantaoui is calmer and safer to wander with its car-free marina, while the Sousse Corniche puts you within walking distance of cafes, shops and the Medina. Kantaoui suits younger families, the Corniche suits those who want the town on foot.
