Twenty-two kilometres from Corfu Town and the airport, on its own long beach, Canvas by Mitsis Messonghi does the classic Greek all-inclusive properly: a free kids club, a playground, two adult pools and a mini aquapark with a waterslide, and food that guests rate consistently higher than most resorts in this bracket. The catch is volume. It is big, it is busy, and the evening entertainment runs loud until 23:00.

Our verdict
The strongest all-round mid-range all-inclusive on the south-east coast, mainly because the food is better than it needs to be. Bring a white noise app, ask for a room away from the entertainment area, and it is very good value.
The rooms
A very large beachfront estate between Moraitika and Messonghi villages, with rooms in low blocks and bungalows through the gardens. Family rooms take four; ask for one near the pools, because this site is long and the walk back for a forgotten armband is a real one. Rooms are comfortable and unremarkable, which at this price is the right trade.

ποΈA day here with kids
- 8:30
Breakfast
Wide choice and genuinely good. Send one adult for loungers first.
- 10:00
Aquapark and club
Club drop off, then the slide. Both are free, which is the whole point here.
- 13:00
Lunch
Dinner is different every night, and lunch keeps up. Rare at this price.
- 16:00
Beach
The pool loungers thin out and the sea is warmest now.
- 20:45
Escape the speakers
Music starts at 21:00. If yours are small, be back in the room or well away by then.
Family things to do nearby
Mini aquapark
Small but well judged for primary age, with a waterslide into the children's section. Not a rival to Aqualand, and not trying to be.
The ice cream parlour
Included, good quality, open through the day. Deploy strategically around the 16:00 meltdown.
Day trip to Corfu Town
Only 22km, so it is a genuinely easy morning out rather than an expedition. The Old Town is Unesco-listed and walkable.
Is it right for your kids?
Baby
0 to 1 yr
Possible but not ideal. The evening music until 23:00 and the long distances across the site are the two things that will define your week.
Toddler
1 to 3 yrs
The children's pool section and the mini aquapark work well. Room position relative to the entertainment stage matters enormously here.
Kid
4 to 11 yrs
Free club, slide, playground, beach and a short trip into Corfu Town. Guests report 5 to 16 year olds equally happy, and that is a genuinely wide band.
Teen
12 yrs and up
The food helps, the beach helps, and Moraitika's strip is close enough to feel like somewhere. Better for teens than the north coast resorts.

Parents also ask
Is the evening music really a problem?
It is the most repeated criticism from families: loud music from 21:00 to 23:00 that makes it hard to settle small children. Room position fixes it, so ask before you arrive.
Is the all-inclusive good or a token system?
Good, and not a token system. Guests report a wide, high-quality drink menu with no extra charges, and dinner that changes every night. It is the resort's strongest card.
Will we get a lounger?
Not automatically. Limited availability at the pools and beach is a recurring complaint in peak season, and the usual early-morning ritual applies.
How far is the airport?
About 22km, roughly half an hour. That is the shortest transfer of any resort on this list, which counts for a lot on the way home with overtired children.

Ikos Dassia
Rooms and suites spread through mature gardens running down to the sea, most with a balcony or terrace. Family rooms and two-bedroom suites give you a door to close at 8pm, and the bungalow suites with private garden or pool are the ones parents of toddlers keep rebooking. Cots, bottle sterilisers and bath supports are free on request, but ask early because stock is finite.

in Corfu
Roda Beach Resort & Spa
A big estate of low buildings and bungalows spread across gardens at the island's northern tip. Family rooms and bungalows sleep four comfortably; some are a genuine walk from the main pool and restaurant, so ask for something central if you have a toddler who naps. Standard rooms are functional rather than smart, and the newer refurbished blocks are noticeably better.
in Corfu
Gelina Village & Aqua Park
Apartments and studios rather than hotel rooms, most with a kitchenette (fridge, kettle, tea and coffee), a balcony or terrace and air conditioning through the summer months. That kitchenette is the reason to come: bottles, purees and 6am toddler breakfasts without a restaurant timetable. Be clear-eyed about condition, though, because the cheapest rooms are dated and reviews flag maintenance.
