Disney Hotel New York, The Art of Marvel

This is the flagship of the Disney hotels, a design-led Marvel hotel roughly a ten-minute walk from the park gates or a quick free shuttle. Superheroes are woven through the whole stay: over 350 pieces of Marvel artwork on the walls, a Marvel Design Studio where kids learn to draw the characters, the outdoor Hero Training Zone, and character moments with Spider-Man and friends. Staying here gets you Extra Magic Time in the parks before they open, plus the indoor and outdoor Metro Pool with a shallow kiddie section.

Our verdict
If your family loves Marvel and the budget allows, this is the most comfortable, best-located base at Disneyland Paris, with Extra Magic Time and a walkable path to the gates that a shuttle hotel cannot match.
The rooms
Superior family rooms sleep up to four and connecting rooms are available for larger groups, with premium bedding, a cot on request and space for a pram. The rooms are the smartest on the resort, dressed in a slick New York style, and the sound-proofing means a baby can nap while older kids are still buzzing about Iron Man.

Parents also ask
Is it really walking distance to the parks?
Yes. It sits on Lake Disney, roughly a ten-minute lakeside walk from the park entrances, and a free shuttle runs for anyone with tired legs or a sleeping toddler in a pram.
What is Extra Magic Time and do we get it here?
Extra Magic Time lets guests of the Disney hotels into selected areas of the parks before the official opening. It is included with a stay here and is the single biggest advantage of an on-site Disney hotel over a partner one.
Are park tickets included in the room price?
Not automatically. Room-only rates do not include park entry, so most families book a package that bundles the hotel with park tickets. Always check what your rate covers before booking.

Disney Newport Bay Club
Superior rooms sleep up to four, with family rooms, lake-view rooms and terrace options, plus cots on request. This is a big hotel with over a thousand rooms, so ask for a room near the lifts if you have a pram and a lot of floors between you and the pool.

in Disneyland Paris
Disney Sequoia Lodge
Standard rooms sleep four with two double beds, decorated with woodland creatures from Bambi, and cots are available on request. Rooms are spread across several lodges in the grounds, so if you have a pram it is worth asking for the main building to cut down on outdoor walks in the rain.

Explorers Hotel at Disneyland Paris
Family rooms are the whole point here, sleeping up to ten in some configurations, with bunk areas and separate kids' zones that little ones love. Cots are available and the layouts are built for families rather than couples, so a big group or two sets of siblings fit comfortably.
