Crown Paradise Club is the value all-rounder of family Cancun, at the far south end of the strip. It packs in a lot for the price: a big kids water park with eight slides, age-specific clubs including a Baby Paradise room for the youngest, family suites with bunk beds and a splash pad. It is not fancy, but it is one of the best beds-for-the-money family picks on the coast.

Our verdict
Crown Paradise Club is the smart choice when budget leads and you still want a real water park and proper baby facilities. Accept the older, simpler feel and you get one of the best family-value stays on the whole Cancun strip.
The rooms
Rooms are simple and family-practical, with categories that sleep families of four or five and some family suites fitted with bunk beds the children love. Cots and bed rails are free on request, and the resort leans hard into multi-generational stays, so connecting and larger rooms are easy to find.

Parents also ask
Is it good for babies and toddlers?
Yes, unusually so for the price. There is an air-conditioned Baby Paradise room with a cushioned play area, a toddler splash pad, cots and bed rails free on request, which makes it one of the easier budget resorts with very young children.
How big is the water park?
The kids water park has a pirate ship, a castle and eight slides, plus a separate splash pad for younger children, which is a lot of water fun for a resort at this price point.
What should we expect for the price?
This is an older, simpler resort, so finish and dining are functional rather than luxurious. In return you get a real water park, strong baby facilities and family suites at one of the lowest prices on the strip.
Where is it on the strip?
It sits at the far south end of the Hotel Zone at Km 18.5, roughly 15 minutes from the airport. The beach faces the open Caribbean, so watch the daily flags with young children.
