The Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay is the classic Bali honeymoon resort that quietly turns out to be brilliant with children. Its all-villa layout gives every family a private garden and pool, and the Umah Rare kids club, meaning house of children, runs a full daily programme from crab hunting to kite making, free of charge. There is a dedicated baby pool just 30 cm deep and a kids pool at 60 cm, so even the smallest paddlers have somewhere safe. Each of the 147 Balinese villas has its own walled garden and plunge pool, so bath time, naps and toddler meltdowns all happen behind your own gate. One, two and three-bedroom layouts scale from a couple with a baby to three generations together, and family villas sit steps from the playground and pools. Cots and babysitting are complimentary, children under twelve stay free and under-fives eat free, which softens the sting of the price.
