This is the resort children draw in their holiday diary. Aqua Nick, the six-acre water park, is included for the whole stay: slides, a lazy river, spraygrounds and a giant tipping bucket, plus scheduled group slimings where a crowd of kids gets covered in green goo on purpose. Characters turn up at breakfast, at the pool and at the evening show, and Club Nick runs a proper age-split kids club. Parents get a genuinely good gourmet all-inclusive, adults-only pool corners and a quiet stretch of Puerto Morelos sand. The two things to weigh: it costs roughly double a mainstream Riviera Maya resort, and the theme is relentless, which is a joy at six and can wear thin by fourteen. The upside over the Dominican sister property is location, you are only about 25 minutes south of Cancun airport.

If you have children between three and ten and the budget stretches, nothing else on the Riviera Maya delivers this much sheer delight per day, and the short airport transfer beats the Dominican original. Book it for the years when the theme still lands.
Las habitaciones
Everything is a suite, most of them big enough for a family of four without anyone on a pull-out, and the swim-up Pads open straight onto a shared lagoon pool. The showpiece is the Pineapple Suite, the two-storey SpongeBob house that sleeps up to six with its own splash pool and a slide indoors. Cots and bed rails come free, bottle warmers and sterilisers are on request, and orange Nickelodeon detailing runs through the lot.

Yes, entry is included for resort guests for the whole stay, every day. Cabana rental inside the park is the only paid extra, and it is optional.
How far is it from the airport?
It sits just south of Puerto Morelos, roughly 25 to 30 minutes from Cancun International depending on traffic. Book the resort transfer or a private car with car seats.
Is it suitable for a baby?
Yes. Cots and bed rails are free, the lagoon pools have shallow shelves, and Aqua Nick has a toddler splash zone away from the big slides. Bottle warmers and sterilisers are available on request.
