Lodomar sits in San Pedro del Pinatar at the calm northern end of the Mar Menor, next to the regional salt-marsh park famous for its therapeutic mud. It is a proper spa hotel, and the standout is a marine thalasso circuit filled with warm salt water drawn from the lagoon marshes. For families there are two outdoor pools, a children's pool, a summer kids programme for four to twelve year olds and the option of a self-catering apartment. The shallow lagoon beaches and the natural mud baths are a short drive or cycle away through the salt flats.
