Is Alpe d'Huez good for beginners and children?
Very. It has plenty of wide, sunny, gentle runs and a big beginner area, which makes it one of the easier places for children and nervous parents to learn together.
What is included for the children?
ESF group ski lessons and the Mini Club Med for ages 4 to 10 are included with the package. Baby Club Med (4 to 23 months) and Petit Club Med (2 to 3 years) are supervised childcare at an extra charge.
Is there anything to do beyond skiing?
Yes. The village has a large indoor pool and spa, evening entertainment and clubs for every age, so non-skiing days and tired afternoons are easy to fill.
