An affordable all inclusive that leans hard into the family market: eight pools spread through the gardens, a water park with slides and children's areas, heated kids pools and a supervised club with an indoor games room. The private beach is the calm draw for parents, sandy at the top with the usual Makadi Bay reef offshore, which is beautiful to snorkel but not a wading depth for toddlers. The pools are where the little ones live.

Yes, the resort heats children's pools in the cooler months, which is what makes it a sensible winter-sun choice with toddlers. Heating is always weather-dependent, so if you travel in the coldest weeks, confirm it is on when you book.
Can toddlers paddle in the sea?
Only at the very edge. The sand is fine for building, but the house reef starts close in and drops away, so real swimming is off the jetty and best with older, confident swimmers. The pools are the safe wading option for little ones.
