Can we swim in the sea here?
Not from the hotel: the Red Sea is right there to look at, but Jeddah's city seafront is a promenade rather than a swimming beach. Swimming happens in the three hotel pools, and for a proper beach day you would head to an Obhur beach resort north of the city.
Is there a kids' club?
There is no full supervised kids' club, but the Rose Buds programme provides welcome packs, kids' menus and baby amenities. It is a refined hotel that looks after children rather than a resort that entertains them all day.
Is it easy to reach Al-Balad and the aquarium?
Yes, both are short, cheap taxi rides from the Corniche. Taxis do not carry child seats, so bring a travel booster if you use one, and plan outings around the cooler morning and evening hours.
