Livadia is the gentle, sandy beach a five-minute walk from Parikia's port, and Hotel Livadia sits right on it. The sea here shelves so slowly and stays so calm that it is the beach locals point families to first, and with the ferry, tavernas and shops all within a stroll, you can arrive off the boat and never touch a car. It is small and simple with no pool, but for a baby or toddler who just wants shallow water and an early night, it is one of the easiest bases in the Cyclades.
