This is the easy choice for a first trip to Naxos with little ones: a proper beachfront hotel just 30 metres from the long, shallow sands of Agios Georgios, and only a ten-minute stroll from the shops and tavernas of Naxos Town. There is a big pool plus a separate children's pool, family rooms that genuinely fit four, and a beach where a toddler can wade out a long way and the water still only reaches their knees. You can leave the hire car at home and do the whole holiday on foot.

Yes, Agios Georgios is one of the shallowest beaches on Naxos: soft sand and water that stays knee-deep for a long way out, so little ones can paddle safely close to shore.
Do we need a hire car?
Not for a beach-and-town holiday. The beach is outside the door and Naxos Town is a flat ten-minute walk, so most families only rent a car for a day or two of island exploring.
