How is this different from Costa Navarino?
It is more of a classic beachfront family resort at a friendlier price, about 45 minutes east in Kalamata. You lose the huge Aqua Park but gain great value, a superb baby service and free kids' dining.
Is the beach sandy?
Kalamata's long beach is a mix of sand and small pebbles rather than soft dune sand, so water shoes are handy for little feet. The pools pick up the slack for the youngest paddlers.
Do children really stay and eat free?
Children up to 12 stay free in select room types and the resort includes complimentary kids' dining, which makes a real difference to a family budget.
