Doblemar is the big beachfront machine of La Manga, sitting right on the calm Mar Menor with its own stretch of shallow, warm lagoon. The Astro mini club keeps four to twelve year olds busy morning and afternoon, there is a children's pool alongside the main ones, and the whole place is geared to families who want to step out of their room and be on gentle sand in a minute. It is large and can feel busy, but for toddler-safe swimming with everything on tap, it delivers.
